Book Lists and my book list for 2013

I love books.  Love them.  Ever since I learned how to read, I have devoured books.

From October 2009- October 2010 I did a Cannonball read and read 62 books in a year
**If you search "books" on my blog you can find the 62 books I read.**

This was what I read in 2011, and what I had hoped to read in 2012.

What I actually read in 2012 was-
  • The Secret History
  • The Bridal Quartet Series by Nora Roberts
  • Pride and Prejudice
  • 5 love languages
  • Bringing up girls
  • Divergent
  • Insurgent
  • The Litigators
  • Fault in our Stars
  • Safe Haven
  • Explosive Eighteen
  • 3 or so Bible Study books
  • And I started reading my Bible through in a year in June.  It started with the New Testament and I'm currently in 2 Chronicles.

My book list for 2013-
  • Les Miserables (almost 1000 pages! eek!)
  • 50 shades
  • Blacklisted from the PTA
  • Who peed on my yoga mat?
  • 11/22/63
  • Bossypants
  • Let's pretend this never happened
  • Notorious 19
  • Beautiful Creatures
  • Game of Thrones
  • Gone Girl
  • Chickens, mules, and two old fools
  • Outlander
  • The Giver
  • The Uninvited Guests
  • finish reading through the Bible

  1. 62 books?! Holy moly, I wish I had enough time to read that much. I love reading and it's such a stress relief to slip into a nice good book.

Les Miserables & Gone Girl are 2 that I've been wanting to read too!

    1. There is NO way I could read 62 in a year right now either! The kids were little then and we lived in a small town with very little to do. I think it was my escape! I didn't have Twitter back then! I started Twitter in the fall of 2010. I HOPE I can read most of the books on my list this year, but we will see! I'm on page 239 of 959 of Les Miserables so far!

  2. I'd like to read Les Mis, too. I'm currently reading The Count of Monte Cristo and it's 1000+ pages. I've sort of stalled out though.

    1. I'm trying really hard not to stall out! I read Anna Karenina a few years ago and that's my largest book so far. I think it was 700+ pages.
