Last week was Spring Break here and we took a little mini vacation about 3 hours north to Kansas City. This was my first trip to Kansas City and I truly loved it and cannot wait to go back and explore this town some more!
It was a little more chilly in KC than here at home and as soon as we got in town, my sinuses and allergies started revolting, but that did not stop us!
Our first stop was to the Kansas City Zoo.
Carousel rides at the zoo are a must, right?!
The next day, we went to Hallmark Crown Center for some shopping and to visit a chocolate factory! Yum!
You can't go to Kansas City without eating some Barbeque! Yummy Yum-o!
And who can pass up a chance to meet Lightening McQueen and Mater???!!!
Nothing says vacation like swimming in the indoor heated pool!
Our final day we went exploring downtown and visited Counrty Club Plaza. It is the home of some swanky shopping in downtown Kansas City.
And topping off the trip? White chocolate raspberry truffle cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory! Divine!!!
