First Grill of the Season

We bought a new charcoal grill on Sunday because our old one was not functional anymore.  We fired it up and grilled some ribeyes for dinner!
We also sauteed some mushrooms in butter and Worcestershire sauce.
I roasted some brussel sprouts.  I  cut them in half and doused them with olive oil, salt, pepper and syrup.  I roasted them for about 10-12 minutes at 450 degrees.  They were so delish!
I also made some sangria.  I used white zinfandel, peach nectar, and Sprite.  I cut up some oranges and tossed some red grapes in!  It was super! As you can see, I was too busy drinking it to get a picture of the pitcher when it was full!

  1. I miss grilling! We have a propane grill since I thought hubby wouldn't keep buying charcoal for regular grill. Well, he keeps refusing to buy propane tank and is always paranoid that it will explode. So, we don't use that either. So, next time you grill, think of me and send me a virtual blackened hotdog! Oh, and I love sangrias too!

  3. I can't wait for grilling season to begin at our house...we had a week of nice weather and now back to rain! I love grilled steaks! Brussel sprouts really don't get enough credit, they are very tasty!
