Weekend Recap

This weekend was a lovely 3 day weekend.  We started Friday night off with a date night in.  Due to our financial situation over the last year or so, and especially since moving to Northwest Arkansas, we have began this lovely tradition.  Our favorite place to get takeout from is Kobe Sushi and Grill.  We absolutely LOVE sushi!  Friday night we ordered our usual sushi and some shrimp teryaki.  It was an outstanding meal with a little wine on the side!
On Saturday I had to say goodbye to a dear friend who has done my hair for the last 9 years.  Heather has done an amazing job on my hair over the years.  I always seem to get compliments and inquisistions as to who does my hair.  She is also a great friend.  I met her through my friend Karri, but she also went to the high school where Tim started his career first coaching football and then being principal.  We've had a lot of good times together!  I am so proud of her moving to Arizona to start a new life and be close to her brother and sister in law and their 3 kiddos.  I'll sure miss ya Heather!
On Sunday morning we started off by attending church.  We came home and had lunch and shortly after, our weekend visitors arrived!  Uncle Keithy and Jessica came to spend the day and night with us!  The kids absolutely love wrestling and playing with these two!  Jessica and I decided to have a little girl time on Sunday afternoon.  We made a trip to Target.  There is no way to explain the fun we have during a trip to Target.  It's a very fun pasttime for us!  We then went to the movies to watch Little Fockers.  It was a funny movie!
After we returned from the movies, we came home to eat the yummy tacos that Tim and Keith cooked for everyone.  Sunday evening we played some Phase 10 and had a lot of laughs!
Of course, today we had to say goodbye.  I hate when they have to leave.  I wish they could be up here all the time!
Tonight we cooked some of our famous shrimp lo mein! It was great!  Here's a shot of C enoying her noodles!
C is spending the evening at the girls basketball game with daddy.  She was very excited to get some daddy time!
