Silver Dollar City and the rest of the week

On October 21st, we took a family trip to Branson to go to Silver Dollar City!!!

It was a beautiful, beautiful day and it was during their Harvest festival so it was decorated so fun!

We had fun riding smaller rides!

 We went to Branson Landing to have dinner at Joe's Crab Shack!

We spent the rest of the week trying to relax and do fall stuff.

I introduced them to Hocus Pocus!

 They also played Monopoly one morning!

 That Saturday evening, we watched our Razorbacks beat Auburn and then headed to a fall Sunday School Social. It was a fun evening and ended with this beautiful sunset!

A Weekend Wrap-up

Our weekend started on Friday.  It's been super nice having Tim off on Fridays.


We got together with April and Ryan for a trip to the splash park Friday afternoon.

Then we met Daddy at McDonald's for ice cream cones and the kids played in the play area.  Tim grilled burgers, hot dogs and zucchini for dinner!

Something new we have been doing- going for bike rides. We rode Thursday and Friday evening!  It feels so great riding a bike again. And it is so FUN riding with the kids and doing it as a family!

Saturday, we made an impromptu trip to Branson! I thought it would be a fun Father's Day treat! We didn't have an agenda; we just knew we wanted to do some shopping.  We had lunch at Cracker Barrel and then shopped until we dropped! Well, until the kids got tired of it!!! We then got a wild hair to go to a cavern!
We went to The Talking Rocks Cavern.  We had a blast!

We had such a great day.

Today, we went to church and it was a great service.  I know I say it a lot, but I feel so blessed to have found our church.  They truly have a heart for the lost.

We bought C Girlie her first "big girl" Bible the other day.  She totally loves it so much!

On the way to church today, she told us, "I trust the Bible!"

I worked on some photo projects this afternoon. One of them was transferring a couple of photos to canvas.  This DIY Photo to canvas tutorial is the one I used.

It was very easy and I think it turned out SO GOOD! I cannot wait to hang them!
