My 2013 book list {and what I hope to read in 2014}

I always do a yearly recap on what I read the previous year and what I hope to read in the current year.

This list includes what I read in 2012 and what I had hoped to read in 2013.

My book list for 2011 is here.

So, here is what I accomplished reading in 2013:
  • Les Miserables(!!!!!!)
  • The Sisters Grimm
  • Nehemiah, a heart that can break
  • IBS, the first year
  • 11/23/63
  • The Giver
  • Desperate, Seeking Simplicity...Finding the Cross
  • Outlander
  • Beautiful Creatures
  • Dragonfly in Amber

  • Defending Jacob
  • The Yellow House Mystery
  • Haunted Charleston
  • Wuthering Heights
  • Can you keep a secret?
  • The Christmas Pearl
  • Notorious Nineteen
  • The Christmas Box
What do I hope to read in 2014?  I think my list may be quite ambitious since it doesn't include the book club books or Bible studies that I will read.
  • I've already read Takedown Twenty
  • started Shepherding a child's heart.
  • Happy, happy, happy by Phil Robertson
  • Bossypants
  • Game of Thrones
  • Gone Girl
  • Blacklisted from the PTA
  • Sparkly Green Earrings
  • Allegiant
  • Unglued
  • The light between oceans
  • What Alice forgot
  • The underside of joy
  • Crooked letter, crooked letter

  1. Great list. One of my goals this year is to read more so I may borrow a few from your list. You are going to love Sparkly Green Earrings. I have her second book pre-ordered and can't wait for it to arrive.

  2. So impressed you made it through Les Mis! And 11/22/63 is one of my all-time favorite books-- I read it in 2012 and STILL think about it all the time. Yay for Michael Connelly!! I love him so much. :)
