Disney World Day 4 {Epcot}

On day 4, we were EXHAUSTED after doing two parks the day before, so we slept in until 10!

Heaven!

We got around and then went to eat lunch. When we came back, Tim and the kids headed to the pool for a bit and I relaxed in the room.

We decided to head to Epcot around 3pm. It was almost 4 by the time we got there.
We headed to Soarin' to get a FastPass, but they were all out for the day. :-(

We stopped at the Character Greeting Spot and waited 45 minutes to meet Mickey, Pluto, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy! The kids were beside themselves!!!

By then, it was time for our dinner reservations at Biergarten, a German restaurant. The food was so good and they had a neat little show too. (They played German music and used German instruments, even the Ricola horns!)

After dinner, we walked through World Showcase on the way to wait in line to ride Soarin'. World Showcase has lots of different areas showcasing different countries.  It looks really neat and I wish we had been able to spend more time there.

When we got to Soarin', the wait time was 75 minutes!
Sigh.
That had been our longest wait time so far. We had waited to do Toy Story Mania the first time and 45 minutes for a couple of other things.

B Boy was very unsure when we got In to ride it. He really thought we would be flying for real! It's okay, he thinks everything(including characters) is real!
We all ended up loving the ride a lot! It is a flying simulation over places in California. You really feel like you are soaring!

When we came out, over an hour later(wait time included), it was storming! Light raining, but there was lightning pretty close.

I couldn't leave the park without doing Spaceship Earth. It is the ride inside the giant "golf ball" as B Boy called it at one point!
It is not a "spectacular" ride, but it's educational and I'm glad we did it.

At this point, it is only 10 minutes until the park closes and we RAN over to do Mission Space. This is another favorite of ours now. Of course, it is a simulation of blasting off in a rocketship and going to Mars! Wow the blast off really seemed like one!

On the way out of the park, we watched "Illuminations- Reflections of Earth." It is a light and fireworks show. They didn't stop the show for rain or lightning!

We headed back to the hotel and got ready for bed! The next two days we spent at Magic Kingdom- posts coming soon!

***********It is so very hard to narrow down the pictures to post! These are just a sampling in each post of the day that we spent in each park.****************
