A raccoon at the park!

We had a storm last night.  It was windy and lightning badly and rain beating down.

But after the storm?

A glorious break from the stifling heat.  It was 72 degrees this morning!  I decided to take the kiddos to the park.  It has been so long since we have been able to go.  The temperatures have been upper 90's to 100's for over a month now.
This was the newspaper just last week....

We got to the park around 9am and we were the first ones there.  By the time we left at 10:30, there were over 40 moms and children there!  Everyone was ready to get outside and play!

We also met a little creature just like this one at the park...
That's right.  A raccoon.  He actually walked right up to me before scampering off out of the park!

Even by lunchtime it was only 80 degrees today.  So, so nice!
