a really good weekend

Friday marked the start of Spring Break! 

Can I get an amen!

We went out to dinner and then went to Coldstone Creamery for a little treat!

 I wore my new and first bubble necklace. I kinda love it.

Saturday we headed out to my hometown.  The kids stayed the night with my mom and dad.  Tim and I stayed with Keith and Jessica!

The main reason for the trip was to attend my best friend from high school's little sister's wedding.  I literally spent half of my high school years at my house and half at their house.

We both live here in NWA, but we do not get to see enough of each other.

The wedding was beautiful, the bride was GORGEOUS, the weather was so perfect, and the reception was wonderful.

At the reception, we sat by another friend of mine from high school.  It was so great to catch up with her! AND I found out that her and her husband are expecting their first child in September!

After the reception, we headed back to the Geels house!

My brother is super into UFC but I, on the other hand, have never watched any of it.

Well, that all changed Saturday night.

Let me say, it is very interesting.

And I was schooled on what "cauliflower ear" is.

Sunday was spent visiting with Keith, Jessica, Parker, mom and dad, my kiddos, and my other brother, Kevin.

It was so nice!

My brother Keith grilled for us and we all watched the kids playing.

Of course, the boys all had to take turns playing guitar!
